Client Love

Justin Cooper

Chief Creative Officer at Drivetime

Here is why I love working with Greg Rahn:
• If you know exactly what you want, Greg can make it
• If you have absolutely no idea what you need, Greg can help you figure it out

He is a pro at walking you through the pre-production process. He has a great ear for detail and is able to tease out what you’re after from your scribbled notes, mumbles and audio samples.

On those occasions where iteration is necessary, Greg’s relaxed, but attentive, approach means that the next round will be on-target– without drama or delay.

Greg has excellent composition and instrumentation skills and is able to produce compelling music in a wide-range of genres and moods. He’s just as competent writing a sailor’s jig, a reggae tune, a classical symphony or a post-apocalyptic-robo-war-techno-beat. If you can describe it (even in just the broadest of strokes), he can actualize it.

Or course, sound design is more than just music. Our games include many sfx that need to feel tactile and work in harmony with the game as a whole. Here, too, Greg does a fantastic job. He is also very comfortable with the more technical aspects of audio design. At Rocket, he championed the use of the Unity audio mixer and innovated the use of an improved audio format to produce better sounding audio with a smaller footprint and better performance.

I’ve worked with Greg at multiple companies on dozens of projects over the course of a decade and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Matthew David

Creative Director of Marketing at Penn Interactive Ventures (PIV)

Greg is a consummate professional, and a really good guy. He quickly became part of the team working with different aspects in game and for marketing pushing beyond what was required of each task. Clearly he has a wealth of experience this point in his career, nonetheless he is very humble takes direction well and is a great collaborator.
In our small studio he was in high demand but when I did work with him he was very focused and delivered great for marketing videos on time and was always excited to work.
I feel very lucky to have worked with him.

Mark Bartscher

Senior Manager, Digital Product Strategy, Disney Junior at Disney ABC Television Group

As dependable as they come, Greg always delivers great work and is always on time. I had the pleasure of working with Greg in the creation of a new sound/aesthetic for a gaming platform at Leapfrog. A true commercial talent, Greg's breadth of experience was invaluable in this process. His ability to compose in many different styles/genres makes him an indispensable resource.
